Scarecrowville on the Square

October 1st - 31st
Once again, our Historic Town Square will be home to scarecrows from all over the county. Beginning now through November 5th, we're inviting anyone and everyone to participate in decorating our town and square with your interpretation of a scarecrow. Be creative, but not too scary, as we want the 'little ones' to enjoy them as well!
American Cowboy Store Adoption Event

November 1st
The American Cowboy Store is partnering with Safe Pet Project and Mountain Shelter for their 10 year anniversary! If you adopt a pet, you can come inside and get a free goodie bag for your new friend! Save the Floofers will be joining us with items like bacon flavored bubbles, edible birthday cards for your pups, and so much more! We hope to see you there!
Christmas Open House

November 7th - 9th
Stop by the local storefronts in Downtown Blairsville and vote for your favorite storefront! Come out and support Safe Pet Project!
Holiday Card Loyalty Program

November 7th - December 21st
Shop local in Downtown Blairsville, and with your purchase receive a loyalty card with stamps from each participating location that you shop at. Once you receive 10 stamps on your card, it can be turned it at the drop box outside of city hall! All completed cards will be shuffled and 2 winners will be drawn! Stay tuned for more details.

Christmas Parade

December 7th

Gather around Blairsville’s Square to watch a family-friendly Christmas parade!
Downtown Christmas Cookie Crawl

December 14th
10:00AM - 3:00PM
12 participating businesses will provide 200 cookie samples to participants. Participants will bring their Cookie Crawl passport to each of the participating businesses and get a stamp & cookie sample. If participant gets all 12 stamps, they can drop it back off at City Hall to be entered into drawing for $100 shopping spree to a Downtown Business of his/her choice.
Tickets will be sold on Eventeny for $20.
